Origins & Philosophy
I was born and raised in Gifu Prefecture, near the historic post towns of Magome and Tsumago along the Nakasendo. Growing up in this culturally rich region gave me a deep and personal connection to the spirit of old Japan and its timeless heritage.
I design refined and private journeys across central Japan — including the Nakasendo, Takayama, Nagoya, Nagano, Kyoto, and the surrounding regions. From an early age, I was surrounded by local stories, traditions, and craftsmanship passed down through my family and community, allowing me to share an authentic perspective beyond guidebooks.
I believe travel is not only about discovering beautiful places, but about meaningful human connection. As an enthusiastic hiker, cyclist, and history lover, I am devoted to creating warm and memorable experiences, so that every guest can truly feel at home in Japan.
